For the second time in a row, the Metrography Agency launched the annual World Press Photo exhibition for the greatest photographs of the year 2021 in Sulaymaniyah.
Ahmad Najm, the Managing Director of the Metrography Agency announced, “We are delighted to launch the World Press Photo exhibition equivalent to other countries around the world in Sulaimaniyah. This is a significant endeavor and we reckon that photography will have further enlightenment in Iraq and Kurdistan for their methods in operation and their efforts for reaching the great awards in photography.”
Ahmad Najm added, “The photographs convey this years’ crucial events from the lenses of photographers, where Corona Virus, climate change, and racism against black Americans can be distinguished clearly from the photographs.”
