For 5 months Bandan Atta has been documenting the life of the peshmerga at the frontline in Daquq. “I cannot wait to finish my studies, give up my gun and start teaching people beautiful things, like music – instead of “the art of killing people”: there are other ways to serve for the country, more important things can be done and shared, things that can change our future for the better” from the diary of a peshmerga.
